Pay as much attention to the curve of your spine when you are diving. When you stand, your lower back has a natural arc as you need to maintain as you sit. The trouble is most car seats are designed for short term comfort, not long term support. A plush seat can cause your spine to slump. And this puts pressure on your discs which result in pain. To take the pressure off, start by adjusting the back of your seat so it’s perpendicular to the floor. Then recline it about two clicks. The angle between your thighs and torso should be around 110 degrees, and your hips should be relaxed.
